| | .:.OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE BEHAVIORS.:.
I have OCD. I like to do everything at least 3 times. And the symptoms have become more pronounced since the day we got our cat, Miu Miu...

1. I check the stove at least 3 times before I leave the house, because I’m afraid Miu Miu would walk on it and catch on fire.
2. I check to see if my balcony doors are firmly closed at least 3 times by yanking violently at the knobs before I leave the house, because I’m afraid Miu Miu would jump off the balcony or somebody would climb into my house. (I live in a high rise building.)
3. I check to see where Miu Miu is before I leave the house at least 3 times, and this is something that really annoys my boyfriend, because even I do not know why I do it. Subconsciously though, I know I’m afraid Miu Miu would vanish on his own.
4. I check to see if I’ve turned off the fireplace at least 3 times before I leave the house, for I’m afraid it would explode and burn the life out of little Miu Miu.
5. I check to see if the bathroom doors are closed at night before I go to bed at least 3 times, just in case Miu Miu drowns himself in toilet water or drinks too much of it. (He does that during the day when I’m not careful.)
6. I lock and unlock my phone all the time.
7. I brush my hair way too often.
8. I check to see if my phone, wallet and keys are in my bag way too much… maybe around 10 times per day.
9. I drink too much water at home and I still never think that I’ve had enough of it. When I’m at home, I can easily drink 4 litres of water (that’s 16 cups of water). My dad bought me a 1.5L water jar half a year ago and it’s not helping me at all. In fact, I’m drinking water right now.
10. I log onto Facebook numerous times per day, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who has this problem.
12. Three is the number. I like multiples of three. The number 3 makes me feel whole. 3, is a habit, an obsession, and NOT a superstition. I'm not sure if it should be considered as an OCD behavior though. But yeah, I like the number 3. For example, when I buy a bottle of shampoo, I'd always pick the THIRD one from the front...
11. For years, I’ve had the very same thoughts in my mind day in and day out.
Don’t worry folks… I’m not crazy. I’m just a little weird!

Random Day with Random Activities went to Daiso at Aberdeen Centre to look at all those tempting $2 stuff I love cat fish because they have whiskers! They are so ugly that they are cute. the so-called "transparent" mask could be a good Halloween prop, but I personally wouldn't put that on my face in a million years. That is extremely frightening. weird wigs... cute oinkoinks was super tempted to bring one of those home My boyfriend and I went to the Richmond Summer Nightmarket for food after watching "Bruno" - tasteless humor, but still hilarious! Richmond Summer Nightmarket It is opened every weekend through mid-May to October. Since Vancouver lacks a nightlife, many people go there every weekend to enjoy the nice weather, purchase little imported Asian goods, and eat overpriced Asian food. I am definitely one of those people. First thing after getting there - LOOK FOR FOOD. Duh. our pork meat siu mai Chocolate cream waffles Twister Potato It was my first time trying that! I got the ketchup one and it tasted delicious. mmmmmmmmmMMmmmMmmmm Taiwanese chicken nuggets Grilled squidy squid A-MUST-EAT every single time still excited after eating that ten billion times Terimayo Japadog different and worse than the real Japadog from Downtown, but still not bad. This guy who sells egg waffles came from Macau! My dad actually knows him... thirsty after eating so much greasy food... ...so we got drinks from this Bubble tea place I got a hot honey milk tea and my boyfriend got a mango slush time to go home after a long, fun day WARNING: LOTS OF CAMWHORE PHOTOS AHEAD DO NOT PROCEED IF YOU'RE ANNOYED BY MY FACE. SKINCARE
Many people have asked me how I manage to keep my complexion looking so clear and smooth. To be honest, my skin IS NOT as flawless as it looks - I really just know how to conceal my blemishes well. Even though I would not say that the quality of my skin is bad, but it is definitely nowhere near perfect. Actually, my skin is one of the things that I dislike most about myself! It is super sensitive and I am allergic to many things, such as chlorine, cheap metal and the SUN. It is very difficult for me to tan evenly because I get rashes if I am under the sun for too long (no matter how much sunscreen I apply)!
If you guys are still wondering what I do for my skin, all I can really tell you is that I am not a skincare guru and I don't actually do much to my face. My daily routine includes a thorough removal of my makeup using Lancome's makeup removing oil, then cleaning my face with a drugstore brand cleanser (that's right, nothing too fancy or with too much scent because my skin is uber sensitive) and cold water, then shower, and then applying a moisturizer. I use a face scrub once every 2 days and a hydrating face mask about once every half month, as well as make sure that I put a moisturizing lotion that has SPF on before I go out during the day, and that's about it. I don't get facials done at a professional salon, I don't go to spas, and I don't tan. Through personal experience though, I have learned that my skin is in the BEST condition when I do not pay much attention to it. I remember that one time I went back to Macau/Hong Kong with my boyfriend and my skin had NEVER looked better because I barely had any time to care for it. I realized that when I have plenty of time on my hands, I tend to examine every single pore and try to get things out that are not visible to anyone but myself, which often gives me red spots that weren't even there to begin with! So my only advice to all of you is... DO NOT TOUCH YOUR SKIN (I really believe in the saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"). Just make sure that you drink at least 8 glasses of water daily, eat lots of vegetables and fruits and get enough exercise, because I believe that having good skin has a lot to do with keeping your insides clean and healthy. When you get blackheads/pimples, try your best not to poke or squeeze at it, as it usually heals much faster if you just leave them alone!
